Worst service I ever got in a tackle store. The owner was rude and extremely unhelpful and was fixated on moving my car when I wanted to grab a few things and go. Won’t come here again for sure. Bad service trumps all. Do not recommend this place.

I came to Ron's store as a beginner fisherman calling a rod a "stick" and not even knowing how to put line on a reel, he took the time to teach me a lot of things and gave me alot of advice when it came to buying my first rod and bait. This is the store you wanna be going to if you need anything related to fishing. I look forward to coming again when it gets warmer 😁🎣

I recently visited the fishing store and I can't help but share my amazing experience. As soon as I entered the store, I was greeted enthusiastically by the staff. The gentleman was ready to answer all my questions, even the most detailed ones. What really impressed me was the diversity of choice offered: high-quality fishing rods, world-class reels, all offered at the best price on the market. The gentleman is always available, I even came during the Christmas holidays for earthworms and he was always available.I would like to thank Mr. Ron for recommending and selling me the Penn Battle 3, which is literally one of the best reels on the market. I can't wait to try it this summer. I plan to definitely come back during the summer to buy these earthworms. PS: Before this summer, as soon as I have the necessary funds, I will pick up this rod we talked about :)

This is an amazing fishing store with a lot of stuff and the owner of the store is a very experienced gentleman for fishing, he will give you useful and experienced suggestions, nice place to go, you will have a wonderful shopping experience for shopping. very A fishing gear store with a wide variety of fishing equipment, including Japan’s Daiwa. The owner is very nice and approachable, and will give you some fishing suggestions in a very professional way. It’s a very pleasant shopping experience.

Best bait and tackle shop I have ever been in! Spent a couple hours with Ron on my way to fishing the Gouin Reservoir in Quebec. Fantastic selection of everything. Ron had great recommendations on tackle and equipment, and answers to all my questions about fishing in Quebec. Some would say he has the “best worms and leaches in Quebec” – and he did – so my group bought our bait from Ron. Ron is fantastic and very friendly. Great little shop. You should really stop by.

I'm new to fishing. When I go to the big box stores either I get no help, or they try to sell me everything I can pack in the cart.Found Ron's store and let me tell you I'll be coming here from now on. Ron gave me amazing advice for beginners and only told me to buy what I really needed. From the advice to the hospitality you can't get this and the box stores. Thank you so much Ron for everything.

Wonderful interaction my first time in the door. Getting back to fishing after a long while and needed a couple things and some quick advice. Great suggestions and explanations. I am grateful to have walked through the door and as many have said, yes, the worms are phenomenal :) Hope this place is around for a long time cuz I will need more.

Such an awesome and very down to earth guy. Not to mention he has the biggest worms I've ever seen and I collect my own worms since the deppaneur worms are a rip off these days. If you have to buy worms, buy ONLY HERE.Anglers, let's protect these mom and pops store like this.Screw those big box stores.Thanks to Ron's 50 years experience, I caught my personal best pike and sturgeon in the same day!! Now that's something money can't buy.

The guy was super welcoming to my son and I, and we are complete newbies. He proposed something that seems great and was well within my budget. Great advice and a service with a smile. Keep in mind he is cash only. No cards. Which I would usually knock a star off the rating, but his service compensated.

I stopped in here yesterday to buy some worms. I hadn't been here in probably 15 years. The service was exactly as I remember, from the owner, who always seems to be in a good mood. Even as young kids when we used to stop in, he always took the time to help us and answer our questions. This kind of place is rare these days. Great little shop with everything you need to fish the area. Nice fresh worms. Thanks!

The place has a good location and nice selection for a small store. The only negative is that they open by appointment, makes you feel like the owner doesn’t want to waste his time. Cash only business ! Other issues with the service, not going into details. 3 stars ⭐️

Probably the best bait shop in MTL. The owner guy is super chill & kind, he knows everything about fishing and has the best worms and leech for baits.10/10 recommend to visit if you're new to fishing near the monk park.

The store has everything you might ask for and at reasonable price. At first, the owner seemed a bit strict however he explained that due to Covid19 and all the rules, he's trying his best to protect himself, his business and clients. Great guy though.

Ron offers the best customer service you could ask for from a tackle shop! He'll jaw with you about fishing and he gives some great advice if you ask. Definitely a go-to spot!

An excellent experience! Winter is by appointment only. But, the owner, Ron, was flexible to meet any time. This tiny shop has everything! His selection, in every category except tackle boxes (he still had a few of those), beat out the Cabela's I usually visit in Ontario. I was really amazed at the assortment of gear crammed in there. The best part was Ron, the owner. I am a professional guide, and I can tell you this guy knows his fish. And he apparently dedicates his life to sharing that vast knowledge with others. Stores like this are invaluable and should be cherished by all who fish. You can't buy Ron's level of knowledge and passion, no matter how much money you might save buying stuff on sale at big box stores. Ron, I will be back.
